Today we’re going to review Red Stag Casino.
Have you heard of them before?
Red Stag is one of several casinos owned and operated by Deck Media. Other casinos they oversee include Sloto’Cash, Black Diamond and Uptown Aces Casino.
But don’t make the mistake of assuming Red Stag brings nothing unique to the table. Or that Deck Media stamps out casinos and makes all of them the same – because that’s not the case.
Some of Deck Media casinos are similar – they’ll take the same approach to 2-3 of their casinos, but then they’ll change it up and do something different for the next batch.
And that’s the case here with Red Stag. In fact, I’ve reviewed nearly 10 of Deck Media’s casinos so far and have not seen one like Red Stag yet.
Which is why I encourage you to read this review to the end. Red Stag has different banking options, offers and games than the other casinos I’ve reviewed thus far, and I think you’ll want to see what those are.
So, let’s get to it.
Red Stag Casino is not open to residents of the following: or the following American states: Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, and Washington State.
The following are lists of both Red Stag’s deposit and withdrawal options. I’ve also included banking limits, time frames and any other terms you should know.
Cash outs take up to 3 days to process, which is on top of the time frames listed above. And, all fees are on top of the fees you might be charged from your bank or e-wallet.
What’s sort of interesting here is they don’t offer bitcoin on cash outs, though they do for deposits. Usually it works both ways.
Their support says they’re currently working on getting bitcoin available for cash outs.
Their minimum withdrawal amounts are relatively high, too – especially for both e-wallets where $20-$50 is the standard.
Red Stag also has payment plans for people who win $10,000 or more. You’ll receive $2,000 per week until the entire amount is paid. This sucks, although it’s not entirely surprising. What’s so bad about this is if you win a substantial jackpot – say, anything in the 6-figure range – it’ll take at least a year before you’re paid in full.
You can get in touch with Red Stag’s support using one of the following channels:
I emailed support to ask them about using bitcoin and mobile devices at their casino. They responded in under 24 hours, and was courteous and helpful.
Red Stag has more than a dozen different promotions. We’ve included details for all their evergreen offers below, including details about how to clear them and any limits there might be.
Claim this offer and you’ll get up to $2,500 and up to 500 free spins. They spread both the bonus and free spins out over your first 7 deposits.
Here’s how that works:
|Deposit||Bonus||Free Spins||Game||Max Bonus|
|1st||275%||100 Spins||Dolphin Reef||$550.00|
|2nd||175%||100 Spins||Fat Cat||$350.00|
|3rd||100%||50 Spins||Funky Chicken||$200.00|
|4th||175%||50 Spins||Cool Bananas||$350.00|
|5th||100%||25 Spins||City of Gold||$200.00|
|6th||150%||25 Spins||Cherry Blossom||$300.00|
|7th||275%||150 Spins||King Tiger||$550.00|
The minimum deposit to receive a bonus is $25. And you must have less than $100 in your account before you can claim a (your next) bonus.
The minimum playthrough for this offer is 30x. The playthrough on the free spin bonus is at least 40x.
There are exceptions, though – for example, if you live in a different country, or if you play a different game to clear the offer.
You can see which countries are prohibited from claiming this offer on their bonus terms page. As for games, you cannot play roulette, craps or baccarat to clear this offer. For everything else, you’ll want to use the chart below to see how much the game you play contributes to the rollover:
|Game||How Much It Counts|
|Any slot game||100%|
|Bingo Bucks, Poker Slots, Dazzling Dice||100%|
|Any blackjack game||10%|
|Any roulette game||0%|
|Any video poker game||10%|
|All other table games||35%|
The max bet you can make while clearing a bonus is $10 per spin/round.
Last thing – free (non-deposit) bonuses have cash out limits of $150. If your winnings exceed that amount and you choose to make a withdrawal, the difference will be deducted from your account.
This is an alternative to their welcome bonus. Instead of the $2,500 and 500 free spins, you can get 25% cash back on your first 7 deposits. All you need to do is make your initial deposit and then contact support to let them know you want the cash back. This offer has a 30x rollover.
You can earn 300% on your first 3 deposits – up to $600 each – when you use bitcoin to fund your account.
After that, you’ll receive additional offers – including a 75% match bonus up to $300, which is available daily, as well as a 100% match bonus up to $1,000 once every week (if you use bitcoin).
Earn points for every bet you make, regardless of the game you choose to play. Every 1,000 points you accumulate can be exchanged for $1 cash back (with a minimum of 2,000 pts / $2 required).
Here’s a chart showing the points you get per $100 spent at each game, their different reward levels, and how much you need to earn to reach and stay at each level.
|Levels||Slots||Table||Video Poker||BJ||Comps to Upgrade||Maintenance|
The points you earn will determine your VIP status, as you can see above. You’ll get different offers almost every day of the week. The only difference is the size of the offer, which is based on your VIP level.
The table above covers most of what’s left of their evergreen offers. But there’s still one more to cover.
This is a 25% cash back offer on your last deposit of the day. You’ll receive a bonus on your losses from that deposit. That bonus has a 30x rollover. However, the bonus is only available to you if:
That wraps up their offers. Between the welcome bonus, bitcoin bonus and VIP program, you’ll have plenty of bonuses to claim, and a reason to always come back to play more.
Red Stag has more than 150 games from software provider, WGS Technology. While WGS Technology’s games won’t blow you away, what I like about this setup is simply that it’s different. I don’t see their games too often, much less come across a casino with only their games.
The point – chances are that, even if you’ve been playing online for years, that you’ll find something different or unique to play here. And I think that’s pretty cool.
But let’s look at some specific examples of games you can play here. The following are lists of games from each major category, as well as any thoughts I may have about them.
Red Stag has all kinds of slot machines, which includes 3-reel slots, bonus slots, 5-reel slots, 7-reel and traditional slot machines.
Here are some of their titles:
Their table games include:
You can quickly sort through these using a blackjack or roulette filter.
My only comment here is their overall selection is small. They have 12 games, but half of them are blackjack and roulette. It’d be nice to see either more games overall, or more diversity with the number of games they have now.
That said, it’s neat to see games like Mulligan Poker and 10 High Hold’em. You won’t find those at just any online casino.
They have more than 15 different video poker machines. Your options include:
The only difference between these titles and the rest of their selection is whether you can play the single hand, 2-4 hand or Mega Multihand variants (which they have filters for).
Your options include:
One thing I’m surprised not to see are scratch tickets.
So, how do you play Red Stag’s games? You’ll have two options.
If you’re not sure which to go with, I often recommend the browser casino. You don’t need to download anything or clog up your PC with a bunch of casino files. It also gives you maximum freedom. All you need is a casino account and internet access, and you’ll be able to gamble online from any computer or mobile device.
Speaking of which, their mobile casino has 60+ games for you to play. However, when I scoped out their casino it was a bit difficult to find. Their desktop casino has a link that takes you to the mobile version of their site. However, I couldn’t find this when I went to their site from my phone. I had to type in m.redstagcasino.eu to get there.
Other than that, I liked what I saw. They have a few filters to help you find the games you’re after faster. And they have a diverse selection of games – you could 3 and 5-reel slots, video poker, table games and tournaments.
Red Stag’s support says their mobile casino is compatible with all devices. I’m skeptical, as most casinos aren’t. But I couldn’t test this to prove them right/wrong, either. So, I’ll just say to not get your hopes up, and to test this out for yourself.
So, should you check Red Stag out? Here are my thoughts…
I’m not a fan of their $150 cash out limit (of money you’ve won with their bonus funds). And, I’m not a huge fan of the $2,000 week payments for people who’ve won a large (jack)pot. Or, how they accept bitcoins for deposits, but are not yet able to cash you out via bitcoin.
Those are my biggest complaints. But the limits are pretty standard for online gaming, and not being able to use bitcoin for cash outs sounds like a temporary thing. Their support says they’re working on it.
And I am a fan of their software. Few casinos use WGS Technology that I know of. Even fewer yet only use them. So, this gives you a unique reason to check them out, even if you’re already a customer at one of Deck Media’s other properties.
On top of that they have a rather large deposit bonus, as well as several bitcoin bonuses, cash back and a VIP program with several additional offers for you to claim.
And, more importantly, I couldn’t find any scams or major complaints. I only found 1 complaint on AskGamblers.com. And even though they’re a newer casino, if they were a scam or ran their casino poorly, you could bet there’d be far more complaints than that.
The bottom line – they look fine to me. Not necessarily better or worse than their other properties, but different. And I think that’s a legit excuse to check them out.
