The following is our Lucky 31 Casino review. We cover all the details we feel our readers want to know before deciding to join an online casino. Things like what promotions they offer, games you can play, and whether they run a legit business.
What we found is that they don’t have lots of promotions, and the bonuses they do have aren’t very big. Oh, and they don’t offer your traditional VIP program, either.
That all said, we still think Lucky31.com is worth a look.
But, ultimately, you’ll have to decide that for yourself. And the best way to do that is to read our review from start to finish.
Lucky 31 is owned and operated by STARPAY LTD. They’ve been in business since 2012 – about 5 years now.
Some of the other casinos under the Starfish Media N.V. network of casinos includes Casino Extra, Casino Estrella and Dublin Bet.
They’re licensed in Curacao.
They have an average to above-average reputation.
ThePogg.com doesn’t recommend them. Lucky 31 doesn’t have a UKGC license, so the staff at ThePogg.com didn’t feel comfortable with testing them. Between that and Lucky 31’s apparent lack of interest in communicating with them, The Pogg said they couldn’t recommend them.
I’m not sure I agree since Lucky 31 not only responds to complaints at AskGamblers.com, but also suggests to players that they file complaints there whenever they have a problem.
And players have; though there are only 5 complaints; 4 have been resolved, and the last one was rejected (in favor of the casino).
Lucky also has a 9.31/10 rating on AG.com. They responded to all the player reviews and complaints I saw there, too.
Then there’s LatestCasinoBonuses.com, where they have a 3.5/5 rating.
Lucky31.com isn’t endorsed or accredited on WizardOfOdds.com or Casinomeister.com. But there are no problems or complaints from either source, either.
And nothing turned up in Google when I searched for scams or scandals.
So, yeah – they have an average to above-average reputation.
Lucky31 Casino does not accept players who live in the following countries:
Lucky 31 offers support through:
They’re available from 11 to 12am, 7 days per week.
They don’t have a banking page, but instead briefly explain their depositing process and that all available payment methods will vary based on where you live.
Most if not all the most common options are accepted, though.
For cash outs, you can use:
Withdrawals over €1,000 will require verification documents. You can cash out a max of €5,000 per week and €20,000 per month, unless they say otherwise.
It’s not a large bonus by any means, but the flipside is that it’s within reach of just about anyone.
But there are a few terms you need to agree to first (here always is):
The playthrough is 30x the deposit and bonus. However, this depends on the games you choose to play. Each game contributes a different amount to the playthrough. Here’s how Lucky31.com structures things:
|Games||Stake % Contribution|
You’ll have 30 days from when you receive the bonus to complete the wager requirements. Otherwise you’ll forfeit (the rest of) your bonus.
Many of these terms will also apply to the offers mentioned in the next section. But you can (and should) see all their bonus terms for yourself, which you can do by going to their website under promotions.
Here are the other offers you can claim at Lucky 31.
What’s neat about this offer is that it looks like the slot machine the free spins are available on changes. I’m not sure how often, since they only cover the month of July.
Two other things – any money won from free spins needs to be wagered 30x before you can cash it out. And any free spins not used after 3 days will expire.
The top 30 will also qualify for a raffle that contains a €250 prize pool
They have some sort of points program. But they don’t seem to advertise it – I managed to find it in their FAQ section.
It’s called SuperPoints – you get awarded for doing things such as:
And so on.
The points you earn depend on the task. You can see the tasks and points dished out on their website. Lucky 31 also says the items may change from time to time.
You can use the points you accrue to turn in for things like free spins, deposit bonuses and no deposit bonuses.
This is a little different than what most casinos offer, but there’s nothing wrong with that.
They work with some of the top software providers in the online gambling industry. Those include:
You’ll be able to play all the standard stuff – slots, blackjack, roulette, video poker and so on. But they also offer live dealer games, which is a nice bonus.
We’ll look at some specific examples of games you can play here in just a minute.
They have an instant play casino. This means you play their games from your browser.
Most common browsers will work – Safari, Internet Explorer, Fire Fox, etc. But they recommend you use Google Chrome in their FAQ section.
Their casino is mobile-friendly, too. However, your experience will be hit or miss depending on the games you play – and, more importantly – the software providers behind the games.
For example, I loaded up a roulette game that didn’t appear to be mobile optimized. I was able to play the game okay, but many buttons were cut off or not on the screen at all.
Then I loaded up a blackjack game from NetEnt and IT WAS mobile optimized. The game looked and worked great – just as it should.
So, one thing that’d be great to see in the future is having some of the games either improved to operate better on mobile devices, or maybe removed from the (mobile) casino altogether.
Here are some examples of games you can play at Lucky 31. However, keep in mind we’re barely scratching the surface here.
After all, they have more than 800 games.
They have 12+ roulette variations – more than I can recall seeing from any casino I’ve reviewed recently.
They also have 12+ blackjack variants.
This is easily one of the largest live dealer sections I’ve seen. They have lots of game variants, as well as both men and women dealers – some that appear to be from different countries.
A good selection, and there’s plenty more behind the curtain, I think. Video poker players will be plenty happy here.
This covers random options such as:
There are tons of fun looking slot machines here. I noticed some from nearly every theme imaginable.
And loads more.
And given the different software providers, you’ll have no problem finding the type of slot machine you like to play – be it a slot with features, wilds, bonus rounds, mini games and more.
We recommend exercising caution when playing their slot machines – especially if you choose to play progressives.
Yeah, I think so.
They’re a bit of a sleeper casino. I never heard of them until I was tasked with reviewing them. But they have okay promotions (they could be a tad bigger), as well as an excellent selection of games.
The bottom line – if you’re looking for a new casino to join, you might not need to look any further than Lucky 31.
